VaP (Vivian and Phyllis) Vibes

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  Thanks to Sara for opening up her beautiful home to us for our Christmas dinner.  We had a great time!

I am ready for the New Year to begin!  I have cleaned up after the holidays and am now ready to get started on some new sewing projects.  I have a new grandson coming in February and need to get working on some clothes and blankets for him.  Kittie has a granddaughter coming in February as well.  Any ideas on what to make would be welcome!

Everyone should bring their calendars for signing up for one of our meetings!  I can’t wait to see what is in store for us this year!

See you Tuesday!

From Amy:
I made this for someone at our church. Janis Mynatt  (the lady from my church who smocks for us did the Smocking). It is for a special situation. It is times like this that make me realize how important Wee Care is. Everyone that helps needs a big Thank You.

The blue top is Sissy Katina - Children's Corner, pink top is Lee - Children's Corner, and ants are Parker - Children's Corner. Just made a few adjustments.

From Susan:

Book idea - Have you read The Dressmaker’s War by Mary Chamberlain? A historical fiction set in WWII with a dressmaker who is a prisoner in Germany and her struggles to stay alive.
