VaP (Vivian and Phyllis) Vibes

March already?  This year is flying by!  Although it seems as though quite a lot has happened – all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren we were expecting have all been born.  Congratulations to all! I know everyone is working on projects to dress our little ones.  Easter is just around the corner.
Thanks to Virginia for all her hard work on the tea last month- the food was beautiful and tasty! … and the cake...BEAUTIFUL!  Thanks to everyone for their support and to those who brought food- great new recipes! We should have something like that more often.
Spring is just around the corner.  I love Daylight Savings time coming this weekend- maybe I can get more accomplished with the extra hours of daylight. Not that I am working outside, but at least I may not want to go directly to bed when I get home.  Vivian and I are challenging each other to get more sewing accomplished.
If anyone has Easter outfits they have made – bring them Tuesday so we can get some ideas!
See you Tuesday!

Wee Care Gowns Workday– 4th Tuesday of Each Month from  January – October
Mark your calendar! Our next Wee Care Workday (9:30 – 2:00) will be March 28, 2017 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (Poplar Pike). Please make plans to come for all or part of the day -  it would be a great help. We need folks to bring sewing machines to sew the outfits that have been pinned. Many kudos to those working at our last workday –  Amy Johnson, Connie Scott, Regina Sanford, Jane Gross, Sara Schwab, Jane Soffos and Susan Batson.

A Wee Care delivery for The Medl!

5th Annual How-To Festival
Germantown Community Library

Planning has begun for the 2017 How-To Festival. As an alumni presenter, we have been extended a special early invitation for the 2017 event. Just like last year, we’ll be helping people to learn new skills in a friendly, free, hands-on environment.

The community will be invited to the library to rotate between tables and decide what they would like to learn. To enhance the learner's experience, we are encouraged to make our presentation as hands-on as possible.

Last year's fun!
