January 2018

Our monthly meeting will be Tuesday, January 9th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome! Please join us! Bring a friend!

Do you have any program ideas to be presented? How do you share your smocking or sewing talents with others?

Please bring any Wee Care gowns – finished or unfinished – to our meeting, or drop them off at Lace Cottage. Thanks!

Thoughts from Phyllis

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Holiday season.  I want to thank Kittie for hosting our Christmas party!  Beautiful home with great food and gifts….and great company!

I really enjoyed my holidays spent with family who were all able to come for a visit.  Although we had a few people sick over the holidays we had so much fun. My son came from Nashville and was able to stay for the long weekend.

I hope everyone is looking forward to 2018.  We need to get things moving this year, so please sign up to teach us something new!  We could also plan on having a couple of outings if everyone would like.  Bring your calendars and ideas to the meeting.

See you Tuesday!

Wee Care Gowns Workday– 4th Tuesday of Each Month from January – October.
Mark your calendar for our next Wee Care Workday will be the 4th Tuesday in January – January 23, 2018 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (Poplar Pike). Please make plans to come for all or part of the day -  it would be a great help. We need folks to bring sewing machines to sew the outfits that have been pinned.

This will be our first Wee Care workday of 2018, so it would be great to have extra hands to help assemble these precious outfits!

Fun at our Christmas dinner/party! Thanks for these photos, DiAnne!
