Thoughts
from Phyllis
Wow! July
already? It certainly feels like it
outside! I hope everyone has a Happy
and safe 4th of July!
This holiday always reminds me of homemade ice cream. My mother used to make it every 4th. Of course she would make the kind that has to
be cooked first and then put into the ice cream maker. We would all take turns cranking the machine.
(Funny how we thought that was fun!) We
would make peach ice cream with fresh peaches and then we would make Orange
Crush ice cream for the all the kids.
Delicious! I do not even own a
machine now – but I think I will get one for the 4th of July dinner
at my house! I do not think I will make
the kind that you cook but any recipes are welcome.
Remember to bring your food items on Tuesday!
See you then!

would be a great help. We really need folks to bring sewing
