Thoughts
from Phyllis
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I began the
Sunday after Thanksgiving having some of my female cousins on my mother’s side
of the family over to bake. We do this
every year and I value our time together more and more each year. We make recipes that our families have
enjoyed over the years and put together boxes of baked goods for each family
(15 of us) to enjoy over the season. That
is a lot of loud women in the kitchen!
I am trying to make the Christmas outfits for my
grandsons, but they keep coming over to my house! I am getting very little done. They are very busy when they are there. I am thinking it is going to require staying
up all night in order to finish.
Ugh!
As I pause and reflect over this past year, I am so
thankful for each of you in my life. I
enjoy our time spent together and always learn something new when I am with
you! This is such a special group of women
and am so proud to be a member.
May each of you and your family be blessed this holiday
season!
See you Tuesday!

Tuesday in January – January 23, 2018 at
Lord of Life Lutheran Church (Poplar Pike). Please make plans to
come for all or part of the day -
it would be a great help. We need folks to bring sewing machines to sew the outfits that have been pinned.
This
